POSITION INFO:

Well-established engineering consultancy specializing in electrical power systems seeks to employ a Civil Design Engineer. Based in Bellville

For the position you would be required to have:

B. Sc/ B. Eng in Civil Engineering
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in civil design
Experience in substation design (highly advantageous)
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience on Eskom or similar utility projects
Knowledge of geotechnical and hydrology inputs

Responsibilities would include you to:

Civil design for substations and related infrastructure (earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations)
Develop layouts, grading plans, and stormwater designs
Coordinate with electrical and structural disciplines
Prepare drawings, BOQs, and technical reports
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards
