SUMMARY:
A well-established civil engineering firm is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a strong background in basic roads, sewer infrastructure, and general construction. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team working on a range of infrastructure development projects across the Cape Town region.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSc or BEng)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in roads, sewer, and general civil works
Registered or eligible for registration with ECSA (preferred)
Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and engineering standards
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites

Key Accountabilities:

Design, planning, and supervision of civil engineering projects, including roads and sewer systems
Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and municipal authorities
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support on-site
Prepare technical reports and documentation
