Civil Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to validate design feasibility and ensure alignment with client project specifications
Utilize working knowledge of CAD software and other engineering tools to refine project designs, including the creation of 3D models and animations using CAD and Civil 3D software
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the viability of proposed designs and techniques
Develop and maintain comprehensive project and contract documentation, encompassing design reports, drawings, and specifications
Ensure compliance of projects with statutory and regulatory requirements, while upholding safety, reliability, and sustainability standards
Work collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary project team to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of projects, adhering to defined quality standards
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings, presenting recommendations to senior project management team members
Conduct regular project team meetings, providing guidance and support to multi-disciplinary team members
Maintain transparent communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of project progress and any adjustments in project planning or milestones

Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in the civil engineering
Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist
Expert proficiency in Civil 3D software is essential
Building services, earthworks, and a strong background in project design and management.

Qualification:
B.Eng in Civil Engineering or B.Tech in Civil Engineering
