Civil Foreman

Responsible for supervising and directly performing a wide range of skilled civil tasks, observation and repairing. Schedules and follows up work, and implements the quality management system.

• Diploma + 8 years’ experience
• Initiating and completing all required documents (PTW if required, SSOW, WCIC) available on site
  • Manages the formation and distribution of Work Orders (repair and maintenance) supervising and insures timely completion to the company quality standards
  • Make sure all Safety Measures (Barricades and such are in place before any work take place)
    • Ensuring the team carry all the required tools / PPE and Instruments are available for work at all times
    • Ability to use small hand and power tools, as well materials applicable to civil work, carpentry repairs to gypsum board/plaster /masonry and painting
    •  Knowledge of the safe use of hazardous materials, solvents, cleaners, adhesives, and chemicals common to civil work is required
    • Raise and document any related and non-related trade findings with his supervisor
    • Notifying the Supervisor of work progress and completion, and ensuring that the site is returned to a safe, clean and operational state.
    • Control his staff attendance, uniforms and addressing personal hygiene
    • Report any discrepancies to his supervisor
    • Control his Staff’s tools and report any damage/loss to his supervisor
    • Control his staff’s lunch break and in and out timing
    • Coordination with other services of all civil maintenance related activity completion and continuous improvement
    • Control the quality of his staff work and ensure proper housekeeping of the area
    • Maintain all required inputs to MAXIMO starting form controlling the assets information and encoding all failures modes and actions and correctives
    • Take the lead during Audits and report any failure on time to supervisor for proper action
    • Requires responding to emergencies or other unforeseen situations around-the-clock, as well as working in the evenings and on weekends as needed by his supervisor
    • Motivate and train his team in a positive manner
