SUMMARY:

An experienced Clinical Engineering Technician, registered with ECSA as Technician, is required for a hospital in the northern region of Kwazulu Natal. Applicants must have sound knowledge of maintenance and management of hospital medical equipment.

POSITION INFO:

Education requirements to be considered for the position:

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (NQF 6 level)

Registered with ECSA as Technician

Experience and skills:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience within this field

Knowledge of OHS and the Health Act

Good communication skills to liaise effectively and professionally with staff on all levels and suppliers

Ability to function well in a fast-paced, stressful environment

Ability to do standby and call out duties as/when required
