SUMMARY:

An experienced Clinical Training Specialist is required for a hospital in Cape Town. The CTS will assist with the training of student nurses for these specialty disciplines.

POSITION INFO:

Key duties:

Effective management of the risk based in-service training programs and quality

Management of CPD & other programs for qualified nurses

Participate in the selection process of internal and external students

Management of student administration and resources

Provide feedback on the progress of students to the Learning Centre and HOD’s

Participate in marketing of the nursing profession and community events

Qualification and experience:

Nursing Diploma or Degree with Midwifery

Post basic Nursing Education qualification (essential)

SANC registered

min of 2 yrs clinical education and facilitation experience (essential)

Excellent communication skills

Computer proficient in MS Office programs
