Cloud Deployment Engineer (2 to 5 years of experience)

POSITION INFO:

Our Client is extending its Cloud Deployment Practice team and is looking for an experienced Cloud Deployment Engineer to join the team. We believe there is always a better way. In this role, you’ll be front and centre talking to clients, prospects, and internal teams to fully understand the business challenge at hand then work with them and a team of experts with multiple areas of Cloud domain expertise to arrive at an elegant and effective solution for the client. During this process you will lead proof of concepts and client testing of the solution as well as making any required customizations to the solution to ensure a successful deployment.

While our overriding strategy is Cloud-first for such solutions, we fully realize that there may be cases where a hybrid-Cloud or even an on premise solution will be the best approach to meet business needs. We’ll be relying on you to look deep and find the best solution in a collaborative and inclusive manner then work with the client and others to make it happen.

 Technical Skills required for the role

·         Expertise with full stack application and solution design and deployment

·         Expert level deployment skills in one of the primary Cloud hyper-scalers with a preference for AWS skills

·         Deep understanding of Cloud security, user and identity management, and network configuration and administration

·         Experience with product and solution testing is a plus

·         Design/architect/deploy client solutions that utilize company products and solutions to meet the client requirements while following all of Company Cloud COE best practices and controls

·         Manage the shared Cloud COE Dev/Test environment

·         Share client findings and customizations with the Cloud Engineering and Digital peer teams to enhance future offerings
