SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join a pioneering company that designs and develops telematics solutions for the mining industry, based in Lonehill. This is a fully in-office role, offering the opportunity to work on innovative projects that transform mining operations through advanced cloud technologies.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Proven experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, deployment, and management
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud security best practices
Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate cloud solutions with telematics systems
Manage cloud resources, monitor performance, and ensure high availability and security
Develop automation scripts and infrastructure templates to streamline deployments
Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and optimize system performance

Experience and Skills Required:

3–6+ years’ experience in cloud engineering or a related role
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
Knowledge of networking, storage, and security in cloud environments
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, etc.)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
