POSITION INFO:
Purpose of the Role:
Acts as a strategic advisor, bridging the gap between HR and the business, ensuring HR practices align with and support overall company goals, focusing on talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
The HR Business Partner must qualify as follows:
HR and Legal Qualification
Min 5 years of relevant experience in HR Management.
Extensive experience in conciliation and arbitration.
Role: Regional Human Resource Business Partner
Location: Durban, KZN
Start Date: Immediate
Requirements and skills- Must have Grade 12, Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
- Must have a clear criminal record.
- Min 5 years working experience
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Legal Qualification
- Experience within FMCG, Union, policies and contracts drafting experience.
- Flexible to travel to other provinces
- Own vehicle is essential
Skills:- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of Labour law and HR best practice
- Must be able to Manage Unions process
- To manage SETA in terms of getting funding and training for employees.
Role and Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Oversee and managing various multiple teams on site
- Developing and executing HR Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Drafting employee contracts and incentive structures
