POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Descriptions:
A leading vehicle rental brand is looking for a Collections & Risk Manager to lead a high-performance team in managing and recovering outstanding debt, while ensuring compliance with industry legislation and company policies.

As the Collections & Risk Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead, train, and motivate a team of collections agents to meet performance targets.
Develop strategies to maximize recovery and manage high-risk accounts.
Liaise with customers, legal entities, external debt collectors (EDCs), and internal stakeholders.
Oversee Excalibur system usage, legal recovery processes, and customer dispute resolution.
Drive accurate reporting, ensure compliance with Debt Collectors Act & National Credit Act.
Manage payment allocations, write-offs, settlement offers, and call center effectiveness.

Qualifications:
3–5 years’ experience in collections team management (car rental or services industry is a plus).
NQF5+ in Credit, Finance, or Legal.
Valid Code 08 license, strong MS Excel skills, and knowledge of Excalibur (advantageous).
Familiarity with legal processes and acts (NCA, DCA).
Proven experience in managing third-party recoveries, legal recovery actions, and internal systems.
