SUMMARY:
We’re searching for a strategic thinker with serious analytical firepower to take ownership of collections strategy for a leading financial services group. You’ll design and optimise strategies that move the needle - driving portfolio growth, refining models, and pushing the limits of data-led decision making.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and optimisation of end-to-end collections strategies that drive portfolio performance.
Design, implement and monitor predictive models and champion/challenger campaigns across the credit life cycle.
Analyse portfolio-level data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Partner with BI and data teams to ensure meaningful dashboards and automated reporting are rolled out.
Guide operations through data-driven strategy that enhances recoveries, improves yield, and reduces cost to collect.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Honours Degree or equivalent in BCom (Maths, Stats, Finance, or Economics), or Actuarial Science.
Minimum 5 years in a similar collections or credit strategy role within financial services.
Advanced SQL, R, Python, AWS, and Excel proficiency required.
Prior experience in financial services or banking is a strong advantage.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
