JOB SUMMARY:
Our client a trading and distributing of electrical products company is seeking a Commercial & Contracts Administrator to be based in Durban

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas include the following:
• Analyse and prepare overall contractual and commercial documentation
• Coordinate actions within the Commercial Department
• Ensure compliance to all formalities from a contractual/commercial perspective
• Report status of current contract processes to management
• Create language standards and rules for existing and new contracts
• Act as liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages
• Ensure terms, conditions, and pricing specifications are executed and satisfied
• Ensure contractual commitments are attended to
• Analyse potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization
• Build a repository [database] of all commercial documentation
• Filing and accurate record keeping of relevant contracts/ tender and documents
• Manage on boarding and termination of contracts as well as ongoing contracts administration (renewals, terms, contract conflict, disputes etc.)
• Finalise terms of documentation engagements as negotiated/approved by relevant stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings between management and third parties whenever required


Minimum Qualifications
• Grade 12 (Matric Senior Certificate)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
• Paralegal Course /Experience an added advantage Essential Knowledge and Skills
• Proficient knowledge of legal requirements pertaining relevant contract
• Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Proficient ability to detect errors and inconsistencies
