SUMMARY:
Commercial Creditors Controller
Isando

Job Purpose

To manage and control all creditor-related functions, ensuring accurate processing of supplier invoices, timely payments, and effective reconciliation of accounts while supporting operational departments.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all tax invoices are properly authorised and supported by relevant documentation
Accurately and timeously capture and process supplier invoices
Reconcile creditor accounts to supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
Manage accruals for monthly and contracted expenses
Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices, queries, and discrepancies
Ensure all payments are made within agreed credit terms
Maintain accurate records of supplier payment history
Prepare and maintain reports, statements, and supporting documentation
Address and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues
Issue purchase orders to suppliers as required
Take full responsibility for the management of supplier accounts
Provide administrative support to the Stock and Delivery departments
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Perform ad hoc duties as required

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong communication skills (read and write in English)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
