POSITION INFO:
THE ROLE:

To help drive this growth they are looking for a Commercial Director to identify, develop and land high-growth revenue opportunities across strategic products and sectors.
You will have a strategic mind, an analytical approach, and a proven record of execution in delivering growth projects.
The Commercial Director will report to the CEO and will play an instrumental role in the growth and success of the business.

CONTRIBUTION AND FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and develop high-impact revenue opportunities with strategic partners.
  • Analyse and develop value propositions for new high-potential sectors.
  • Pilot, launch, and lead the growth of new market opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Work closely with the product team to create scalable category-based solutions.
  • Drive long-term, sustainable business by relentlessly focusing on customer success. 
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 10+ years in a commercial business-development role in financial services or consulting with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
  • Strong commercial and entrepreneurial acumen.
  • Advanced degree or qualification from a leading university.
  • A proven ability to discover and deliver new high-impact commercial opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial legal experience and the ability to close deals.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and network skills - must be able to build effective and long-lasting working relationships with customers, partners, and merchants.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • A proven background in initiating & maintaining executive-level relationships with strategic partners and a record of sustained success in driving operational excellence for scale ensuring high speed working rhythms and quality internally
