SUMMARY:
Our client in the industrial manufacturing sector is seeking a seasoned Commercial Manager to lead their wear solutions division. The role focuses on driving sales, business development, and strategic growth across key sectors such as mining, cement, steel, and construction. The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumen, technical knowledge, and strong leadership to expand market share and ensure long-term profitability.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Metallurgy, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years’ commercial leadership experience in the metal industry, with a focus on wear parts, wear plates, or abrasion-resistant components.
Proven track record in developing and executing commercial strategies with measurable revenue growth.
Strong negotiation skills and experience with complex contracts, ideally in heavy industries.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials technology, and wear mechanisms.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities, including team management and stakeholder engagement.
Experience working across diverse regulatory, cultural, and logistical environments in Africa.
Valid passport and driver’s license; willingness to travel locally and internationally.
