R 30 000 - R 35 000 CTC + Accommodation (D.O.E)

An exciting opportunity exists for a driven and experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading lodge/resort in the hospitality sector. The successful candidate will oversee the commercial operations, focusing on revenue growth, market development, and maintaining world-class guest experiences.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Matric plus relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field
5 Years experience in a senior commercial/management role within hospitality, ideally lodge or resort environment
Strong background in revenue management, sales, and marketing
Financial acumen with proven ability to meet and exceed targets
Basic computer literacy
Valid drivers license

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business goals
Drive revenue growth across accommodation, food and beverage, and other revenue streams
Oversee sales, marketing, and business development initiatives
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
Identify new opportunities by monitoring market trends and competitor activity
Maintain strong relationships with partners, travel trade, and key clients
Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team
