Urgently Seeking - Commercial Finance Manager with Hedging experience!

POSITION INFO:

Our client operates within the FMCG sector whereby they manufacture and distribute commodities for the consumer market. They are recruiting for a Commercial Manager that will be acutely involved with the Commercial Finance Reporting, Costing, Sales & Marketing Strategies, Procurement, Hedging and more. Due to the nature of the role, only incumbents with Commodity Trading, FMCG, Agriculture or similar industry experience may be considered for the role.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Development of Market Strategies
• Market & Trend Analysis
• CAPEX Reporting
• Working Capital Management
• Fixed Asset Management
• Age Analysis of Goods
• Financial Modelling & Pricing Strategies
• Product Costing
• Valuations
• NRV (Net Realizable Value) Reporting & Credit Risk Management
• Hedging & Forex Conversions
• Operational Management
• Procurement
• Deal Negotiations & Stakeholder Engagement
• Liaison with Supply Chain & Logistics
• Staff Management

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with 2-4 years’ post articles experience within the FMCG, Agriculture or similar commodity trading environment
• Must have Hedging (Fluctuating Markets) & Procurement experience
• Must ideally have a background working for Medium-Large companies with a multinational footprint (exports)

Skills:

• Strong business mindset and ability to negotiate deals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced and highly pressurised environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
