POSITION INFO:

Overview

The Commercial manager plans, directs, and coordinates the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, goals and establish training programs for the sales team. The Commercial Manager participates in sales, business development and principal management. The Commercial manager further analyses market insights gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers. This role is responsible for the sales of the SBS and fiscal metrics thereof.

Qualifications

  • University (First degree) relevant to the SBS of Food and Beverage
  • A commercial qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10 years to 15 years)
  • Minimum 3-5 years'' business experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
  • Deep understanding of principal management, sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Essential proven experience in delivering sustainable value in large projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good selling and negotiation skills (Customer centric).
  • Strong financial literacy.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Good planning, administration, and organizing skills.
  • Ability to work on own / Work under pressure / Self-motivated / Team player.
  • Valid code 8 driver’s license.
  • Managerial experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework. (Over 6 years to 10 years).
