POSITION INFO:

Commercial Manager – Foods

Our Client is a leading food manufacturer based in CT. They have a varied and divers client base, and are now looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Commercial Manager to manage their key retail accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

Achieving Sales Budgets & Targets Positive relationships with Retail Buyers and Planners

Managing Forecasts and evaluating promotional effectiveness

Understanding of the marketplace and competitors Price negotiations regarding ongoing New Product Development and Price Reviews Cross functional engagement with Procurement, NPD and Production

Category Management of various categories

The ideal candidates will have

A relevant qualification, preferably in the food tech/food science arena
A post graduate commercial qualification or MBA
At least 5 years relevant experience working in a sales/account management role, preferably with major chains
A strong commercial flair
