SUMMARY:
A well-established and reputable logistics and freight company is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead and drive commercial strategy across its shipping and road freight divisions. This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong, stable career track record and a deep understanding of the freight and logistics industry.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
Manage key client relationships and negotiate high-value contracts
Identify new business opportunities within shipping and road freight markets
Lead pricing strategies, tenders, and contract management processes
Collaborate with operations to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
Provide leadership and guidance to the sales and commercial teams
Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in the freight/logistics industry
Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or senior business development role
Strong knowledge of shipping (sea freight) and/or road freight operations
Demonstrated success in contract negotiation and key account management
Solid financial acumen and strategic thinking ability
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
A stable and progressive career history (essential from a recruitment perspective)
