POSITION INFO:

Commercial Manager - Project Finance, CPT R1,8m

Opportunity to join Executive Management team of Energy Infrastructure/Asset Management Services business.

Develop portfolio with the specific objective of enhancing the value of shareholding for all Project Company shareholders. Role is for a commercially astute individual, with demonstrable legal/contractual acumen, and familiarity with the South African Infrastructure Asset Management environment. Optimise the capital structure of all projects under management and proactively seek out new opportunities to grow portfolio. Apply Financial Engineering principles to maximise shareholder returns whilst taking care of Treasury and Cash Management, including optimising interest rate and foreign exchange exposure of the companies. Ensure that all related tax, legislative and statutory requirements are met.

Minimum of 8-10 years of prior transactional experience working within project finance, structured finance, tax equity and/or Mergers & Acquisition (“M&A”) with demonstrable examples of initiatives that maximise returns, minimise risk for project company shareholders required to secure impactful role.
