Commercial Officer

SUMMARY:
An opportunity in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is available for Commercial Officer in Lagos (Nigeria).

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree or an HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar subjects
• At least 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing at a senior level, particularly with B2B sales
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory
• Experience in the FMCG or Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing industries is desired
• Must be able to drive and hold a clean driver’s license (mandatory)
• Knowledge in preparing of sales reports is mandatory
• Ability to manage budgets efficiently
• Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and delivery of presentations
• Working knowledge of CRM systems will be an advantage

• Identify and establish new business within various countries in the West African region
• Maintain accurate sales records
• Build strong client relationships through continuous engagements, support with product customization, etc.
• Assist in the distribution of products
• Ensure product visibility in the market through effective merchandising and branding
• Implement strategies to build the company’s competitor advantage in the market
• Negotiate and close sales
• Review sales performance monthly
