JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a Commercial Sales Consultant: Short-Term Insurance to be based in our Lenseria offices. The Sales Consultant will be offering Short Term insurance products. Initiate the customer relationship and meet various KPIs. Handling client objections and closing sales.

Responsibilities include:

Contacting leads brought in by Brokers and prepare quotes.
Contacting existing clients on database cross sell to offer short term insurance cover.
Reviewing policies at renewal stage In-house.
Servicing and amendments Load Tasks.
Ensuring tasks are continuously updated.
Capturing quote info & utilising the various quote platforms available.
Presenting and following up on quotations issued.
Capturing new bus on Xplan computer system and new business spread sheet.
Sending emails of thank you, disclosure, and policies schedules.
Prospecting Tele sales calling for new business.
Ensuring disclosure letters and FAIS requirements are complete.
Following up on account queries, arrear premiums, cancellations and double deductions and retentions.
Following up on requirements and processing claims.

Minimum Requirements:

2 years short term related experience.
Exposure to Insurance package (X Plan) would be beneficial.
Senior Matric Certificate.
RE 5.
120 FAIS Credits.
Experience in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
The person will need to be able to work from home a few days a week and come in when required.
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Presentable and quiet workspace at home.
Reliable and high speed WIFI connectivity.
