Requirements:

Matric certificate
5+ years’ experience in Commercial Underwriting, including HCV, Multi Mark III, endorsements
Full FAIS accreditation
RE 5
Stable work history (essential)

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, underwrite, and manage a wide range of commercial risks for new and renewal business
Prepare quotes, endorsements, and policy amendments to meet client and company needs
Engage directly with brokers and clients to gather information and negotiate terms
Ensure all policies comply with underwriting guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and company standards
Proactively manage renewals, cancellations, and endorsements promptly
Analyze claims histories, exposure data and make recommendations to mitigate risk and enhance profitability
Support business retention and client satisfaction by fostering strong professional relationships
Stay updated on industry trends and recommend appropriate modifications to policies as risks evolve
