Requirements:

• Matric certificate
• 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Underwriting, including HCV, Multi Mark III, endorsements
• Full FAIS accreditation
• RE 5
• Stable work history (essential)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, underwrite, and manage a wide range of commercial risks for new and renewal business
• Prepare quotes, endorsements, and policy amendments to meet client and company needs
• Engage directly with brokers and clients to gather information and negotiate terms
• Ensure all policies comply with underwriting guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and company standards
• Proactively manage renewals, cancellations, and endorsements promptly
• Analyze claims histories, exposure data and make recommendations to mitigate risk and enhance profitability
• Support business retention and client satisfaction by fostering strong professional relationships
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend appropriate modifications to policies as risks evolve
