SUMMARY:
Commercial Underwriter- Pietermaritzburg

POSITION INFO:

We have a vacancy available for a Commercial Underwriter in Short Term Insurance. The suitable candidate will preferably have the necessary qualification to be registered as a Representative, along with the RE exam and short term experience. The preferred candidate will be able to work without supervision.

Responsibilities will include:

Administration of short term commercial lines policies (as well as some personal lines policies)
All underwriting aspects (processing of endorsements, quotes, renewals)
Assist clients with various queries; must have excellent communication skills
Assisting with claims in someone’s absence
Answering switchboard in the absence of the receptionist.
