Our well-established client in Hillcrest is looking for a Communications Officer working from Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 12:30 pm. 6-month contract position with potential for renewal based on performance. 

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in a public relations or corporate communications role
• Proficiency in FreshDesk or similar customer service management software
• Excellent emotional intelligence and the ability to approach customer interactions with diplomacy and empathy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational capabilities
• Interdepartmental coordination
• Priority management 

Role Overview:

As a Communications Officer, you will be a crucial part of the team, responsible for representing the brand and maintaining positive relationships with customers, community, influencers and organisations. You will play a key role in managing the customer careline, community engagement, influencer relations, public relations and collaborative efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the customer careline, ensuring timely and empathetic responses to customer inquiries and concerns
• Oversee community management efforts, engaging with community members across various platforms and fostering a positive and supportive environment
• Handle influencer management, including identifying, engaging and maintaining relationships with influencers aligned with brand values
• Execute public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation
• Collaborate with like-minded organisations on mutually-beneficial initiatives and partnerships
