SUMMARY:
Are you ready to be the driving force behind this organization's governance revolution? We're seeking a dynamic Company Secretary to join our clients team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Coordinate Board and committee meetings with precision and professionalism.
Ensure utmost confidentiality in all operations.
Provide expert guidance to the chairperson and CEO on governance matters.
Empower the Board to excel in their duties and responsibilities.
Craft compelling Board packs and reports.
Manage logistical arrangements for Board activities seamlessly.
Stay ahead of legislative requirements and ensure compliance.
Maintain meticulous record-keeping of Board proceedings.
Facilitate the education and orientation of governance committee and Board members.
Foster communication channels to enhance collaboration among Board members.
Drive the implementation of Board resolutions with precision.
Prepare for annual General Meetings and events.
Manage board valuations and update charters to stay compliant.
Lead the development of yearly work plans.

Qualifications:

National Higher Diploma / BCom degree or equivalent (NQF 6 minimum, NQF 7 Preferable).
Postgraduate qualification desirable.
Registration with CIS is essential.
