SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Compliance Officer with experience within Financial Services – FAIS & FICA Compliance

POSITION INFO:
Job Specification

Small yet well-established financial services firm in Durbanville
Position would suit someone with high energy levels
Independent diligence (not needing to be micromanaged) and sincere enthusiasm for compliance function
Responsibility for managing and maintaining the regulatory compliance function within the group of 4 FSPs
FAIS and FICA compliance
Solid understanding of how the financial services industry works
Small financial service firm based in Durbanville
Existing processes and procedures are well-established, but would benefit from someone who is prepared to show substantial initiative/enthusiasm for the function
Will work with the investment function within the firm (assisting with fund operational due diligence)
Primary focus on overall FAIS/FICA compliance for 4 FSPs
Reports directly to senior management within the firm

Minimum Requirements

2-3+ years compliance experience in financial services (FAIS, FICA, AML)
Relevant degree
High attention to detail required
Computer literate
Ability to follow instructions
Full-time in-office role
