Compliance Specialist Business Management Systems

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the Pinetown area is recruiting for a Compliance Specialist Business Management Systems, to review, develop and continually improve processes, policies and operating procedures in consultation with all company process managers and in line with updated standards.

• Develop and sustain the Company Integrated Business Management System in compliance with the required company, customer and industry standards (including: Company policies and procedures, IATF 16949, ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHSMS 45001 & ISO Energy 50001 and customer specific requirements).
• Review, develop and continually improve processes, policies and operating procedures in consultation with all company process managers and in line with updated standards.
• Manage the internal audit programs to ensure compliance with company, customer, industry and internal company policies and procedures.
• Seek to embed a culture of continual improvement throughout the company.
• Lead the team to achieve business management system targets and objectives for Metair, customers and business goals.
• Conduct internal training on IBMS and customer specific subjects.

• Implement all relevant procedures described in the Integrated Business Management System (IBMS)
• Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies
• Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns
• Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits
• Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriateÂ

• Ensure ongoing compliance with the Quality & EHS Management System IATF 16949, ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHSMS 45001 & ISO Energy 50001

• Relevant quality, manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred or relevant NQF Level 6 qualifications.
• Significant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Strong knowledge of the latest Automotive tools and techniques.
• Automotive Quality Management System Auditing, experience and managing audit programs.
• A detailed understanding of IATF 16949, ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHSMS 45001 & ISO Energy 50001 and customer specific requirements.

• Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
