Configuration Manager – Marine Projects (12-Month Contract)
Location: Simonstown Dockyard
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Mobilization: September 2025)
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret-level Security Clearance required

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to oversee document control, configuration management processes, and integration within a highly regulated marine engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in managing configuration across multi-disciplinary projects and a strong understanding of compliance, ISO standards, and engineering documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• 10–15 years’ experience in configuration management and document control
• Proficiency in configuration management software and document control systems
• Strong experience in ISO auditing, compliance, and regulatory adherence
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
• High-level reporting and documentation capabilities
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, isometrics, and technical documents
• Solid understanding of integration planning across mechanical, electrical, architectural, procurement, quality, and safety disciplines
• Working knowledge of supply chain management principles

• Analytical and structured thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and traceability
• Highly effective communicator and collaborative team player
• Professional, ethical, and comfortable working in complex environments
