Title: Consolidation Specialist
Location: Johannesburg
Salary: 600 000 – 620 000

Brief Description:
A diversified (non-manufacturing) business in the automotive sector with unrivalled scale and scope in South Africa is looking for a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant to join their team in the position of Consolidation Specialist.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

• Prepare, maintain, and execute the reconciliation of consolidated ledger accounts and financial statements
• Develop, test and deploy new consolidated reports
• Design and maintain internal control over financial reporting processes and perform control activities in the respective area of responsibility
• Contribute to develop the group's accounting manual and reporting guidelines
• Develop and maintain a documented system of procedures to ensure efficient operation of systems, processes and controls and accuracy of financial reporting
• Support the implementation and set-up of the consolidation procedures and the intercompany set-up
• Manage the relationship with external auditors for ordinary requests

Education:

• CA(SA)

Job Experience:

• Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant OR 1 year post article experience in the automotive space

Skills:

• Microsoft Suite
• Strong leadership skills
