Position: Construction Manager (PrCM / PrCPM) – 7-Month Contract
Location: Cape Town Waterfront, South Africa
Start Date: Immediate / January 2026


About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager (PrCM / PrCPM) to lead a high-profile construction project at the Cape Town Waterfront, with responsibility for NEC3 contract administration, site management, and successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and overall project management.
• Administer NEC3 ECC contracts, including early warnings, compensation events, and programme management.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, cost control, and project scheduling.
• Oversee on-site construction activities, subcontractors, and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA, HSE policies, and South African building regulations.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, managing stakeholders effectively.

• Registered PrCM or PrCPM with SACPCMP (non-negotiable)
• Minimum 10 years’ post-degree experience in construction management
• Qualification: BTech / BSc / BEng / Degree in a Built Environment
• Hands-on experience with NEC3 contracts, preferably from the contractor side
• Proven track record of delivering projects R30 million+ on time and within budget
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6)
