POSITION INFO:
Position: Construction Manager

Location: Port Edward, Kwa-Zulu Natal

Reports To: Construction Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• National Diploma (NQF6 or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and civil engineering principles.
• Solid experience in the civil construction industry, particularly in roadworks or infrastructure projects.
• SANRAL project exposure is highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and people development skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Well-organized with high attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Willingness to relocate to project sites as required.

• Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are consistently upheld.
• Mentor and train junior staff on construction techniques, work ethic, and professional standards.
• Enforce site discipline and foster a positive and respectful work environment.
• Provide hands-on technical support and practical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure all work is aligned with design specifications and timelines
