Consulting Draughtsperson

SUMMARY:
Company based in Centurion is looking for a Consulting Draughtsperson to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Skills:

• 2-3-years relevant experience in the Mechanical Engineering environment.
• Understanding of technical designs, drawings, and materials essential.
• Computer literate.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.
• PDM and other SolidWorks add-on experience is considered beneficial.

• Serve as a drawing consultant at customers or internally.
• Interactions and negotiations required in order to provide engineering deliverables and/or estimates.
• Responsible for providing relevant engineering deliverables including 3D CAD models, 2D Manufacturing & Assembly drawings, legislative documentation and Bills of Materials.
• Contribute towards process improvements and standardisation and documenting improvements.
• Serve as quality assurer in the design and draughting department.
• Willing to serve and develop as an application engineer/consultant if there is no draughting work.
