he Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design of LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, and small power systems
• Design of fire alarm, data, security, and other ELV systems
• Preparation of detailed design calculations, specifications, and drawings
• Use of industry software such as Amtech/Trimble, Dialux/Relux, and AutoCAD/Revit
• Attendance at client meetings and site visits
• Coordination with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations)
• Supporting junior engineers and contributing to technical development

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in a building services consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and regulations
• Proficiency in design software and BIM environments
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
