POSITION INFO:
Role Purpose
The Content Creator is responsible for developing engaging, high-quality digital and written content that enhances Gijima’s internal and external brand presence. This role drives employee engagement, showcases Gijima’s platform transformation journey, and aligns all visual and messaging outputs with the company’s strategic goals. The role is essential in maintaining a consistent brand voice across various channels, including intranet, social media, newsletters, and internal campaigns.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content plans aligned with internal marketing campaigns and business initiatives.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging written, visual, and video content for multiple platforms (e.g., intranet, email, social media, presentations).
- Ensure all content adheres to Gijima’s brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather stories, news, and updates to amplify internally and externally.
- Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
- Monitor content performance analytics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support event coverage, photography, and videography for internal and external communication needs.
- Stay updated with content creation trends, tools, and best practices to ensure innovative storytelling.
- Assist with design and formatting of internal newsletters, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain and organize the digital asset library for easy retrieval and reuse.

Core Competencies
Technical / Functional Competencies:
- Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
- Graphic design and multimedia editing (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
- Basic video editing and motion graphics
- Knowledge of internal communication platforms and social media tools
- Ability to translate technical concepts into engaging content
Behavioural Competencies:
- Creative storytelling with a keen eye for detail
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Digital & Platform Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams)
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)

- Basic SEO and digital content optimization
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Multimedia Design
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field
- Years of Experience: 2–4 years in content creation, digital marketing, or internal communications
- Certifications: Advantageous to have certifications in digital marketing, Adobe Creative Cloud, or social media strategy.
