SUMMARY:
Our client in the banking industry has an opportunity available for a Contract and Procurement Specialist, to be based in the Midrand area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in law or relevant field (Commerce or Supply chain)
1-2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management would be advantageous
1-3 years experience in Contract Drafting and Management
Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality
Excellent knowledge of current and legally-binding contractual language and terminology- both Legal and Commercial
In depth understanding of the composition of contracts and service level agreements (SLAs);
Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards;
Knowledge of costing and pricing methodology;
Knowledge of negotiation best practices, both in-person and in written form, that considers cultural norms and the Bank''s best interests
Knowledge of tender processes
