Contracts Manager BUILDING

Educational requirement:

• National Diploma Building OR B.Tech OR National Higher Diploma OR B.Sc Building.
• Preference shall be given to applications with SACPCMP registration

Experience required: 10+ years experience with Building projects is a minimum requirement. Remedial construction project experience an advantage.

Summary of this role: This position manages the Contract & Construction Management of multiple projects . You shall need proven experience in dealing with extension of time claims preparation and submissions. Must be able to manage and update project programs, develop, track, and update short term programmes in CCS. Preparation of management of Long Lead Schedule, selection, negotiation, appointment, and management of project subcontractors. You shall also be skilled with the coordination of project subcontractor activities and Implementation of Just-In-Time (JIT) ordering methodology. Responsibilities shall include the managing of project budget, maintaining a positive project cash flow and management of project P&G

Reporting structure: This position reports to an Operations Director and is directly responsible for all professionals based on site that include a Site Agent, General Foreman and all other Foreman on site including Health & Safety staff

We are looking for someone who has worked for large building contractors and also someone who has worked on new builds as well as remedial construction projects. Only open for Cape Town based applications who also have existing relationships with Cape Town based subbies
