Control Room Operator

SUMMARY:
An Internal Vacancy exists for a Control Centre Operator in the Critical Infrastructure Division – HQ Centurion 
 
The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following: 

POSITION INFO:

• Alarm monitoring and dispatching armed response.
• Accurate and detailed reporting on incident management systems
• Communicating with service providers; technicians and management
• CCTV monitoring, analyzing incidents, and actioning accordingly
• Tracking of client assets
• Answering incoming telephone calls

• Good communication skills - verbal and written.
• Bilingual – English and any other South African Language
• Computer Literate (MS Office)
• Attention to detail
• Alarm Monitoring (Listener, PSiM, Synapse, Telegram, CiiMS)
• Previous Emergency Control Room (Alarm Monitoring) / CCTV experience (3 - 5 Years)
• Grade 12
• PSIRA Registered Grade A
• No Criminal, disciplinary, or bad credit record
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Work shifts; weekends and public holidays
• Preferably no underlying medical conditions
• Sober habits
• Must be Vaccinated
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Own reliable transport
