SUMMARY:
Client in the Engineering and Mining Industry requires the services of a Control Systems Specialist in the Kwa-zulu Natal area as soon as possible.

POSITION INFO:

Are you a vibrant Control Systems Specialist looking for a company with great perks and a fast paced, collaborative environment? Our Cleint is looking for an experienced Control Systems Specialist to perform skilled tasks requiring advanced capability within the field of Process Control and Automation in order to maintain and optimise the serviceability, reliability, integrity and safety of all equipment.

• Specialist expertise

• Teamwork

Minimum requirements

National Diploma in Engineering or related (NQF6), coupled with 5 years’ experience as Technician, or 3 years’ experience as a Control & Automation Technician.

Skills

High level of PLC programming skills on Siemens S7 systems,

SCADA development – Wonderware InTouch, System platform.

Knowledge of Siemens Variable Speed Drives, knowledge of static and dynamic scales,

Other specialised expertise knowledge, i.e. Network experience and project management,

MS Project, SAP PM & MM,

Advanced analytical skills,

technical investigations fault finding and optimization and

Code EB driver’s licence.

Personality

Interpersonal, work independently, decision-making, effectiveness under pressure
