POSITION INFO:
Our client is a dynamic group that values precision, adaptability, and smart financial leadership. They are looking for a technically strong Group Technical Accountant to support compliance, reporting, and business decisionâmaking across the organisation.
You’ll work across multiple business units, tackle new accounting standards, and play a key role in audits, integrated reporting, and finance transformation projects. This role offers exposure, variety, and continuous learning in a supportive yet highâperformance environment. A great fit for someone who wants growth, challenge, and real responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Own group compliance with accounting standards and legislative requirements
Advise on technical accounting matters linked to new products, markets, and acquisitions
Prepare and review statutory financial statements and group reports
Manage yearâend reporting timelines and group deliverables
Partner with finance teams to provide technical support
Coordinate external audits and internal control assessments
Contribute to integrated reporting and corporate finance initiatives
Support finance system and reporting tool enhancement projects

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA)
5+ years postâarticles
Experience in technical accounting or group finance roles
Comfortable working across multiple priorities and stakeholders
Strong IFRS knowledge
Advanced Excel and analytical capability
Clear communication and problemâsolving ability
Ability to manage complexity and deliver to deadlines
