Controls Engineer

SUMMARY:
A dynamic automation solutions provider delivering high-impact projects within the manufacturing and automotive sectors is expanding its team and seeking a skilled Controls Engineer who is passionate about solving complex automation challenges and delivering technical excellence to clients globally.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC programs using Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms
- Configure and commission automation systems at client sites
- Perform system testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting
- Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces where required
- Support integration of automation systems within manufacturing and automotive environments
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Provide technical support and documentation for completed projects
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Proven hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems
- Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience
- Ability to travel internationally (approximately 50% of the time)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
