POSITION INFO:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Junior Conveyancer & Notary to join their Conveyancing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of conveyancing matters from instruction through to registration, while maintaining excellent client relationships and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Minimum requirements: LLB Degree Admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Minimum 3 years' post-admission experience as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary 5 years' post-admission experience advantageous Registered with the Legal Practice Council Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport Experience handling property transfers, bond registrations and bond cancellations Experience with deceased estate transfers advantageous Sound knowledge of the Deeds Registries Act, Sectional Titles Act, Companies Act and Administration of Estates Act Experience liaising with financial institutions regarding bond registrations and cancellations Strong understanding of FICA, AML compliance and SARS eFiling (Transfer Duty) Experience drafting conveyancing-related agreements, opinions and advisory notes Ability to manage conveyancing matters independently from inception to registration Proficient in LexisConvey, WinDeed, DeedsWeb, LawPractice, Stordoc and Microsoft Office Excellent drafting, communication and legal research skills Strong administrative, organisational and time management abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Professional, client-focused and detail-oriented approach Willing to work overtime when required and attend to after-hours client matters Experience in achieving revenue and performance targets advantageous Interest in business development and growing client relationships Consultant: Chante Pienaar - Dante Personnel Pretoria Faerie Glen Apply via our website \/> OR Apply directly online: If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
