Conveyancing Attorney

SUMMARY:

Admitted Attorney – Conveyancing (Bonds & Cancellations)

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents using appropriate precedents and templates
• Handle conveyancing matters with a focus on bonds and bond cancellations
• Ensure all work complies with internal risk management policies and procedures, including GDPR requirements
• Provide legal support to the team and act as a legal resource where required
• Manage diaries for the team, ensuring all deadlines—especially post-completion—are met timeously
• Undertake legal processes under supervision, including routine file management
• Maintain accurate records and ensure files are updated correctly
• Deliver consistently high levels of client service

Minimum Requirements:

• Admitted Attorney (South Africa)
• Approximately 1-year post-admission experience in conveyancing
• Proven experience with bond registrations and bond cancellations
• Strong drafting and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Professional, client-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
