Core Shop Superintendent

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Core Shop Superintendent to lead production operations in our high-performance foundry environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in the automotive manufacturing sector and working knowledge of IATF 16949 quality standards.

POSITION INFO:

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Drive production output while minimizing scrap and controlling costs
• Ensure on-time delivery of cores through proactive planning and coordination
• Uphold quality standards, including first-off, in-process, and final inspections
• Maintain raw material stock levels and oversee monthly stock takes
• Enforce SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) compliance and workplace discipline
• Develop and train staff to support operational excellence
• Monitor and manage overtime, headcount, and departmental budgets
• Collaborate with internal teams and auditors to ensure continuous improvement

📘 Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate in Foundry Technology
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a core shop environment
• Proven track record in the automotive industry
• Exposure to IATF 16949 and familiarity with FMEA and control plans
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate clearly with management
• Computer literacy in MS Windows and MS Office
