SUMMARY:
ð Job Opportunity: Core Shop Superintendent – Automotive Industry ð

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Core Shop Superintendent to lead production operations in our high-performance foundry environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in the automotive manufacturing sector and working knowledge of IATF 16949 quality standards.

POSITION INFO:

ð§ Key Responsibilities:

Drive production output while minimizing scrap and controlling costs
Ensure on-time delivery of cores through proactive planning and coordination
Uphold quality standards, including first-off, in-process, and final inspections
Maintain raw material stock levels and oversee monthly stock takes
Enforce SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) compliance and workplace discipline
Develop and train staff to support operational excellence
Monitor and manage overtime, headcount, and departmental budgets
Collaborate with internal teams and auditors to ensure continuous improvement

ð Minimum Requirements:

Certificate in Foundry Technology
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a core shop environment
Proven track record in the automotive industry
Exposure to IATF 16949 and familiarity with FMEA and control plans
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate clearly with management
Computer literacy in MS Windows and MS Office
