Corporate Communications Manager

SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity is available for a Corporate Communications Manager for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in Sandton.

POSITION INFO:
This role is responsible for planning and executing external communication strategies to promote, strengthen, and protect the reputation of the Group and its brands across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. The position supports corporate communications, media relations, and broader marketing initiatives while managing reputational risk and strategic messaging.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage corporate communication and media relations strategies.
• Monitor and address challenges in the automotive sector, identifying communication opportunities and risks.
• Manage the Group's corporate social media strategy using media content and social listening insights.
• Identify and implement strategic partnerships and sponsorships with key media, influencers, and entities.
• Manage reputational incidents and crisis communication plans.
• Create executive-level content and thought leadership materials.
• Develop and execute media strategies and tactical plans for corporate announcements and events.
• Write and distribute effective corporate media releases.
• Coordinate media training for senior management and executives.
• Provide strategic media relations support to build a cohesive and strong Pan-African corporate narrative.
