Excellent opportunity for seasoned Corporate Credit/Analyst with Corporate Banking Credit and Business Support Experience.

POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose:

Achieve the Division''''''''s targets and budgets by working with the Corporate Banking Relationship team, identifying customers, analysing and assessing their needs and credit worthiness in order to sell Corporate Banking products to them.

Responsibilities/KPIs:

  • Conduct comprehensive and effective analysis, credit ratings, covenant monitoring, pre and post loan management of clients and to manage and maintain credit risks.
  • Complete, facilitate, coordinate, monitor and participate in the credit process both locally and with Head Office for the respective Teams.
  • To achieve the Bank''''''''s Targets as set by EXCO (determined by Head Office) as amended and updated from time to time on an annual basis by planning and executing on plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, policy and procedural requirements of the Bank. To protect the Bank from potential losses.
  • Credit Administration, reports, assigned tasks, special projects, product development and Innovation: To ensure all Credit Administration, tasks, special projects, reports, must to do list, product development (within team portfolio, for department, for the Division, for other departments and or for Head Office and other external stakeholders) are completed efficiently, and on time.
  • Coordination/Cooperation - Establish and maintain good working relationships within the department and with the Bank''''''''s internal and external customers. To protect and enhance the brand of the Bank. Servicing and marketing customers, collaborating and enabling teamwork
  • Work Attitude – Maintain positive and professional attitude to meet KPI’s and resolve all matters
  • Time Management – ensure that all tasks are completed on time. Time and task management to avoid bottlenecks and missing deadlines. Prioritise tasks.

Qualifications required:

  • Commerce/Business Degree or equivalent qualification - Required
  • Honours/Masters Business Degree - Preferred/An advantage

Experience required:

  • Prior Corporate Banking experience of 5 - 7 Years - Required
  • Prior Corporate Credit/Business Analyst experience 3 - 5 Years - Required

  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and manage requirements of the role
  • Strong Financial Literacy/Numeracy skills
