SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Development Manager to provide support to the Corporate Development Team across the range of corporate development initiatives, including acquisitions, divestures, partnerships and other commercial opportunities, including deal origination.

POSITION INFO:

A relevant NQF level 7 qualification i.e., Business / Commerce / Mining degree (financial experience if mining related degree) required. Postgraduate qualification in CA, CFA, MBA or similar will be a definite advantage. 4 – 6+ years’ experience in investment banking / corporate finance, private equity, or in-house corporate / business development role essential.

Knowledge of and experience in the commodities / mining industry will be a definite advantage.

Highly analytical, with excellent financial modelling and valuation skills essential.

Strong understanding and experience in executing M&A, corporate finance and similar commercial transactions, with good working knowledge of associated regulatory environment.
