U.S. Market | Western Cape: My client is an established international technology business specialising in secure Smart Card, RFID and identification solutions, and is looking to appoint an exceptional Corporate Sales Executive to take its U.S. market to the next level.

This is an opportunity for a high-calibre, commercially driven sales professional who is comfortable engaging at executive level, building relationships with major corporate clients and converting complex opportunities into substantial business. You will be part of an experienced Executive Team based in Cape Town, working closely with a professional and supportive Cape Town team, while enjoying the opportunity to operate within an established international business and engage directly with the U.S. market.

You will be dealing directly with U.S.-based clients, so polished communication, commercial maturity and the ability to build immediate credibility over the telephone are essential. This is a role for someone who can confidently represent the business at a senior level, develop meaningful corporate relationships and identify and convert significant commercial opportunities.

POSITION INFO:
This is a fully remote role and not an ordinary sales role THE OPPORTUNITY Taking ownership of business development and corporate sales within the U.S. market Identifying and converting high-value, enterprise-level opportunities Building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and C-suite executives Presenting tailored technology and security solutions to corporate clients Managing complex, consultative sales processes from initial contact through to close Leading, mentoring and supporting the sales team Managing CRM activity, sales pipelines, forecasting and reporting Working closely with international teams across the U.S., UK and China Monitoring market trends and identifying new commercial opportunities WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR This role will suit someone who can demonstrate: Strong, proven corporate \/ enterprise sales experience, preferably within technology, technical, security, SaaS, smart card, RFID or solutions-based environments A demonstrable track record of closing substantial, complex B2B deals Confidence engaging with senior executives and C-suite decision-makers Excellent business development and relationship-building ability Experience leading, mentoring or influencing a sales team Strong commercial acumen and a strategic approach to sales Exceptional spoken and written English, with clear, polished and highly professional telephone communication The ability to communicate confidently and naturally with U.S. clients Excellent presentation, negotiation and closing skills A post-matric qualification; business, sales, technology or technical studies would be advantageous THE WORKING HOURS - AND WHY THIS COULD WORK FOR YOU Monday to Friday | 15h00-00h00 (SA time) Working with the U.S. market means that your day starts later - giving you the freedom to have your mornings and early afternoons to yourself, while working during the U.S. business day.
